It was built in the Makuhari new urban district of Chiba Prefecture as a private, co-educational school to prepare students who will play active roles in the 21st century. Three years later, in 1986, Makuhari Junior High school was established with the aim of creating a \u201cunified junior and senior high school educational program focused on valuing each student in order to cultivate persons of individuality.\u201d<\/p>\n<table class=\"historyTable\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td scope=\"row\">April 1983<\/td>\n<td>Shubuya Kyoiku Gakuen Makuhari Senior High School opened.
