After Principal Tamura discussed the<br \/>\nsignificance of the ceremony and the importance of the study trips, the leaders of each<br \/>\ngrade pledged to make the trips meaningful with their great expectations and<br \/>\naspirations.<br \/>\nThe Grade 7 students travel around the Minimi-Boso area. Their leader expressed<br \/>\nhow much they were looking forward to the opportunity to gain first-hand experience<br \/>\nin local areas, and how much they all appreciate the support to prepare for the trips<br \/>\nfrom ShibuMaku.<br \/>\nOur Grade 8 students travel around the Tohoku region. The Grade 8 leader talked<br \/>\nabout their cohort\u2019s deep interest in learning about the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and<br \/>\ntsunami, as well as participating in group activities in Tohoku.<br \/>\nThe Grade 10 students travel to Hiroshima.
