１年を振り返って
佐藤
生徒の皆さんとの良い出会い
にも恵まれ、明るい雰囲気の中
で授業が出来たことは、たいへ
ん幸せでした。また去る四月以
降、中学の授業、副担任など数
多くのことを経験できました。
しかし、それに比べて、どの
くらい自分が成長したのか？何
が出来たのか？となると、至ら
ぬことばかりで、反省すること
だらけです。
もう一年、まだ一年……。

何もかもが初めてだった。副
担任、修学旅行の引率……。
日々の仕事を何とかこなせて
いる（ように見える）のは、多
くの先生方のサポートがあって
こそだが、その先生方は、自分
の何倍もの仕事を抱えているの
だ。まだまだ他の先生方に遠く
及ばないことを自覚しつつ、こ
れまでの二年間の教師生活が、
確実に自分の糧となっているこ
とが実感できた一年であった。
より充実した一年がおくれる
よう、一層努力しようと思う。
一年目を振り返って

授業中、こちらが考えてもい
ないような質問によく出会いま
す。「これは英語ではどう言う
の？」、「なぜそういう言い方を
するの？」という言語や文化の
違いに純粋に疑問を抱く感覚、
その違いを面白いと思える感覚
は、私がすでに自明だと思って
いたことに新鮮な驚きと発見を
与えてくれます。"Co-learning"
という言葉がありますが、まさ
に生徒と共に学ぶことができた
一年でした。
これまでを振り返り

昨年度までは、公立の中学校
でお世話になっておりました。
その為、いろいろな面で本校と
比べて見る事があった様に思い
ます。生徒の質、学校の体質な
ど、全く違う部分も多くあり戸
惑いもありましたが、その反面、
広い視野で見ることが出来、大
変良い勉強をさせていただいて
いる次第です。
これからも、子供たちの良い
笑顔を見る為にも、自分自身の
やるべき事に精一杯力を注ぐ覚
悟で努めていこうと思います。

This is the first time I have worked full time in a Japanese
high school．So far my experiences have been positive
and enjoyable．The returnee students who I teach are
hardworking and generally self-motivated．The vast
majority are eager to maintain and improve their English
Skills．I believe that the students know Just how important
English is in a world context．Furthermore，they know
that they should try very hard in this class owing to the
fact they are surrounded by the Japanese language in their
everyday lives and their exposure to English is therefore
comparatively limited．
Impression of Shibu-Maku

It's been nearly a year since I started teaching at Shibu-Maku．With all the school events and exams,it feels like a very short time．On the other hand，I also feel like I've
been here for a much longer time．I feel at home in Shibu-
Maku．The atmosphere of the school is welcoming,the
students are respectful,studious and imaginative,and the
teachers are warm and friendly.I feel lucky to be teaching
in such a good school,and hope that next year will be as
enjoyable as this year.
