Nov.21�`	Nov.24(Wed)Career Planning Lecture (Mr. Yasushi Akashi) Mr. Yasushi Akashi, a former United Nations administrator was invited to speak about the meaning of working in the international community. Mr. Akashi was also kind enought to answer a lot of questions from the students. Being watched by a large number of parents, students looked a little nervous. Nov.16(Tue)Junior 2 Energy Lecture Jr.2 students were given a lecture on the importance of energy and environmental issues. Students had experiments using hand-generated power. Nov.15(Mon)The third annual "Let's Talk about Global Issues." The two German students studying at Shibumaku made speeches on how German students learn about world peace at school, and two of our students talked about Hiroshima trip.

The junior high kendo club put on a powerful performance. The New Zealand students seemed impressed. The junior high ensemble performed enjoyable music pieces. The New Zealand students performed a haka in exchange. Finally, all attended sang 'Pokarekara Ana' together.
