Information on study abroad for the period of long term and short term

Long Term Overseas Training

We have a long-term exchange program for high school applicants, and they live in public and private high schools in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, etc. Credits earned at the study abroad destination are accredited at our school and can be promoted to the same grade as classmates.

In addition, by accepting many exchange students every year, our school’s diverse and versatile school culture is formed. Thomas M. Lauderdale, a core member of Pink Martini in the American jazz world, was an early exchange student.

Short Term Overseas Training

We are conducting a two-week homestay training in New Zealand for third-year junior high school students.

We also offer the opportunity for short-term overseas training in the United States, United Kingdom, Vietnam, Singapore, and Beijing for those who wish to apply in their first or second year of high school. The purpose of these trainings is to learn about culture, history, industry, etc. as a practice of language learning through homestay, etc., and to deepen the re-recognition of Japanese culture. During the summer vacation, we will hold a next-generation leader training program, where you will experience discussions with Harvard students, MIT visits, and lectures by graduates of Shibumaku working at local companies and MIT graduate students while staying in Harvard University dorm.
