The School Tree: Japanese Pagoda Tree ( by which the decorative pattern surrounding ‘M’ in the school symbol is inspired)

The Japanese pagoda tree, which represents youth, is one of our school emblems. The walkway from the front gate to the entrance of the main building is lined with these trees. Japanese pagoda trees are sturdy and can reach heights of over 10 meters. This tree is native to northern China and is said to have been planted to represent the highest positions of three lords (Grand Minister, Grand Tutor, and Grand Protector) in the old Chinese Zhou Dynasty.
