Yellow Fairy

On May 10, 2001, volunteer activities to grow roses in the school started. At the center of the activity were high school girls’ tennis club members in their 20th grade and volunteers who liked flowers who enjoyed playing tennis until junior high school.
They challenged everything from watering in midsummer to cold fertilizer in winter to pruning and attracting. They also went to the rose garden in Sakura for practical training, and also went to the green botanical garden in Chiba City to learn how to sharpen knives.

Since then, the activity has been handed down to juniors who love roses for more than 10 years. As of May 2015, 76 old roses, modern roses and English roses of 61 types are now decorating the school in early summer. The various colors and scents, and their adorable facial expressions, have become a hot topic not only in the school but also in the local people, and are pleasing to the eyes. The crimson and orange rose hips that shine in the blue sky in autumn are also colorful.
