Closing Ceremony for the 2nd Semester

The rain from last night went up, and the closing ceremony for the second semester was held under the blue winter sky.
Due to a sudden breakdown of the broadcasting equipment, the auditorium could not be used, so the venue was moved to the warm winter ground. The opening and closing ceremonies were held on the ground since the school was opened when the auditorium and gymnasium had not been built yet.

The principal suggested to set a clear goal for a long vacation. He plans to read several books in this vacation, one of which is a book about the female mathematician and philosopher Hypatia in Egypt in the 4th and 5th centuries AD. He is very much looking forward to read them.
Then, he cheered especially 3rd grade students who are challenging toward clear goals ahead of them. He said “I feel very fortunate to hold this ceremony under such a wonderful blue sky. I cannot help but admit it sour grapes.” That is his usual humor.

The closing ceremony for junior high school was held at the gymnasium.
