Lunar Eclipse Observing

On 19th of November, first in 89 years almost total Lunar Eclipse’s night, Senior and Junior High students held Lunar Eclipse observing party. Images sent from the telescope in our observatory were projected on the white wall at the courtyard. Ahead of Lunar Eclipse, live broadcast of three planets now in best view, Venus, Saturn and Jupitar entertained the viewers. At the second ground, 50 telescopes with 5cm diameter lens prepared, nearly 300 students and teachers enjoyed Autumn night drama in the sky.
That telescope at the observatory was donated by the last year’s graduates on their graduation, so that all of us had the most fun.
