Opening Ceremony for the third semester

We held our Opening Ceremony for the third semester. While the Grade 12 students
gathered in the auditorium, the students in Grades 7 through 11 participated remotely
form their classrooms for safety precautions.
In Principal Tamura’s address to the Grade 12 students, he noted that they had
achieved great results by working together to adjust to the pandemic in a manner that
ensured their school lives were minimally disrupted. Principal Tamura also discussed
the fact that the Grade 12 students still have big challenges ahead and now is the time
to harvest the fruits of their labor by continuing to work hard until they overcome
these challenges. Doing so will surely become a valuable life experience for them.
To the rest of the students, Principal Tamura discussed the progress of nuclear fusion
experiments at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in the U.S. He
explained that this amazing progress was only possible through daily, unceasing
efforts, and that he hopes the students would make the most of each and every day.
