    Christmas lights of the school

Christmas lights of the school make us relaxed.

    12/7（Mon）～12/11（Fri）2nd Term end-of-term test

Students had 2nd Term end-of-term test. They tried very hard to answer. No student was in the school yard.

    12/5（Sat）S2: Guidance for the entrance examination

S2 students had a guidance for the entrance examination. Students imagined what they would be next year and were inspired to greater effort.

    11/30（Mon）～12/5（sat）1 week before the test

Students will have test in a week. They have no club activies. And a lot of students study for the test early in the morning and late after school.

    11/28（Sat）Senior 2 English Expression　Exhibitions and Performances on "Ideal city" by students

Exhibitions and Performances on "Ideal city" by students were in 2nd Keihatsu room. It was originally a presentation by each student in the ordinary English class. A representative of the class chosen by students gave the presentation in front of the all S2 students.

    11/27（Fri）Junior 3 Mock Trial

A Mock Trial was held for Junior 3 students. Teachers acted as a defendant and a witness, and students acted as judges, prosecutors, and lawyers. Under a guidance of the real lawyers, students practiced many times. It was very good experience for the students.

    11/26（Thu）A mock lecture by the professor from Tokyo University
    11/27（Fri）An investigative staff of a family court

The 4th and 5th lectures were held as one of the event for "Career Education 2015". The 4th was a mock lecture by the professor from Tokyo University. And 5th was a lecture by the graduate and it was about the investigative staff of a family court.

    11/21（Sat）High school student's forum on food

High school student's forum on food was held in our school. Students of other schools came to our school and gave presentations.

    11/21（Sat）A special lecture by the professor from Tokyo Institute of Technology

A special lecture by the professor from Tokyo Institute of Technology was held. We invited the professor from Tokyo Institute of Technology and the students wishing to join listened to his lecture. He gave in a way high school students could understand and students were interested in his lecture. また、東工大で学ぶ学生の様子や進路などのお話しもあり、志望校を決める上で貴重な情報を得られました。

    11/20（Fri）Career Planning Lecture

Dr. Aoki from the medical department of Fukui University came to our school and gave the lecture to our students. He is the 7th graduate of our school. The students were interested in his lecture.

    11/19（Thu）Open class day

The pictures show the 2nd open class day. Many parents came to our school.

    11/16（Mon）、19（Thu）Junior 2 the lecture on energy

We invited a lecturer from Tokyo Gas company and he gave the students a lecture about energy and environmental issues.

    11/14（Sat）Bibliobattle in Shibuyamakuhari

Students give their presentations in each section like fiction, non-fiction, books written in English etc...) and the best book was decided.

    11/12（Thu）Junior 1 Humidifier has come to the classroom　

A special humidifier named "mistfan" has come to all J1 classes. They were given by the company to check the effect of the machine. It can kill many kinds of virus in the air.

    11/9（Mon）～14（Sat）　Check the time when children are on their way to school by the teachers

Our teachers checked the students behavior during the time when children are on their way to school by the teachers.

    11/7（Sat）、8（Sun）　Explanatory Meeting for the Junior High & Senior high School Entrance Exams for 2016

We had Explanatory Meeting for high schooland junior high school. A lot of people were interested in our school and came to our school.

    10/30（Fri）　Special lecture by a professor Kanahara of Tokyo Institute of Technology

For the students from J3 to S3 who wish to hear, we had a special lecture by a professor Kanahara of Tokyo Institute of Technology. About 20 students came to hear and they were very interested in it. After the lecture, some of them asked the professor some questions.

    10/26（Mon）～10/30(Fri)2nd term, mid-term test

We had 2nd term, mid-term test from 10/26 to 10/30. The first picture shows the students studying in the junior high school hall on the first floor in the morning. The second picture shows the students playing or joining in the club activities after the test.

    10/20（Tue）S1 physics : open class

The picture shows the S1 physics : open class. They made a group of six and try to weigh the things only using something around them.

    10/17（Sat）Guidance for college life and entrance examination

Guidance for college life and entrance examination was held for all senior 2 students. And some of the senior 1 students who wants to join in came to hear the lecture. The graduates talked about their experience and the college life.

    　～　10/14(Wed)　Senior 2 School trip to China or Kyushu

Senior 2 students went to China or Kyushu for the school trip. The students who went to Kyushu and were in the 1st group of goint to China started their trip on 10/8. The students who were in the second group of going to China started their trip on 10/9. All students have learned many things from their experience.     10/8（Thu）～ Junior 1 : Minami Boso, Junior2 : Shinano , Senior 1 : Hiroshima

Junior 1 students went to Kamogawa, Junior 2 students went to Shinano, and Senior 1 students went to Hiroshima for the anual school trip. We didn't have any big accident. Senior 1 students have a good experience in the memorial year of 70 years after WWⅡ. If you want more information, please go to this site.

    10/8（Thu）～　Senior 2 School trip to China and Kyushu

Senior 2 School trip to China and Kyushu had an inaugural meeting on 10/5. They started their trip on 10/8.( the students to Kyushu and 1st group to China) The picture shows the Terra cotta. It was sent from China on 10/11.

    10/7（Wed）～　Junior 3 School Trip to Nara

Junior 3 students had an inaugural meeting on 10/6. They went to Nara from 10/7 to 10/10.They had good experience. 詳しくは学校行事をご覧ください。

    10/7 （Wed）Junior 1,2 & Senior 1 students had an inaugral meeting

Junior 1&2 and Senior 1 students will go to school trip from 10/8. And they had an inaugral meeting in the 6th period on 10/7. Junior 1 is to Kamogawa, J2 is to Shinao, and S1 is to Hiroshima.

９/２８～

    10/3 （Sat）Meeting for the school trip

All the students except for Senior 3 will travel as a school trip next week. Students in each grade has prepared for the trip. Senior 2 students had the meeting on 3rd of October. They had two meetings. One was for the trip to China and the other was the trip for Kyushu.

    9/29 （Tue)A ceremony of appointment for High school student council

A ceremony of appointment for High school student council was held. A student body president said that almost all of them were inexperienced and they wanted to be taught how to do their job by experienced seniors to make their school better.

    9/26 （Sat）Chorus club went to Makuharikan to cheer up the members of elderly people
Junior & senior high school students of Chorus club went to Makuharikan to cheer up the members of elderly people. They had been singing for about 40 minutes and after that, talked with the people. It has continued for more than 10 years and people in Makuharikan are always looking for this event.     9/26 （Sat）Farewell ceremony for the students from NZ: Farewell Party with host family

The farewell ceremony for the students from NZ was held at the auditorium. Kendo club showed their performance to kiwis and sang a song for them. In return, students from NZ sang songs for us.

Farewell Party with host family was held. After the party, they left our school for the airport to go back to their country

    9/19 （Sat）Guidance for short-term overseas trip programs

Guidance for short-term overseas trip programs was held at the Kehatsu room. The students who had experienced before came to talk about the trip to China, Vietnam, Singapore, and England during the winter and spring vacation.

    9/17 （Thu）Welcome ceremony for the students from New Zealand

Welcome ceremony for the students from New Zealand was held at the auditorium. We sang for them and students of karate club showed their performance. Then NZ students sang a song , and showed their dance called Haca.

    9/15 （Tue）The students of RI came to our school

The students of RI in Singapore came to our school. They will have learned Japanese and Japanese culture for about a week.

    9/14 （Mon）NZ students came to Japan

NZ students came to Japana. They met the members of the host family and the life in Japan for 2 weeks had started.

    9/12(Sat)、13（Sun）Cultural festival

    Cultural festival ( We call it "Enjyusai"）was held. We had so many guests. Students prepared for this big event as a member of their homeroom class, club activities, and so on. All of them tried their best to make the guests happy. On the 2nd day, we had little rain, but we didn't have any big problem.
    9/10(Thu)、11（Fri） days for preparing for the festival

Students had 2 days for preparing for the festival. During those days, the festive mood of the students had risen to fever.

    9/5 （Sat）Meeting held by the AO staff from the university in the United States

We invited the AO staffs( Admissions officers) from the United States to have the meeting about the college life and the way to go to the universities in the U.S.A. We will have several times for the meeting like this. For the first meeting, we had the staff from Pepperdine and Boston. Some of the S3 students came to get the information.

    9/5 （Sat) A lecture on the global issue concerned with SGH

One of the SGH activities, we invited the graduate who is now working for the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. He talked about the theme, "Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership Agreement(TPP) and the abiliry to that negotiation from the view point of one of the staff of TPP". About 120 students came and were interested in his speech based on his experience in the negotiation of TPP.

    9/1 （Tue）Opening ceremony（Junior high & Senior）

Opening ceremony for high school was held. Many students received awards. We got the impression that many kinds of group has been increasing in our school. So many kinds of students have chances to use their abilities.

Opening ceremony for junior high school was held. Many students received awards because of their great achievement during summer vacation. Through their experiences, they looked grown up and we hope they will show their new ability in their daily school life.
