12/21(Thu)　The closing ceremony for the 2nd term

The closing ceremony for the 2nd term was held.

12/21(Thu) Junior high, Brass band club :Christmas concert& Dance recital by high school cheer leading club

Christmas concert by the Brass band club

Dance recital by high school cheer leading club

THe Christmas concert performed by the junior high brass band club was on the last school day of the year 2017. After the closing ceremony, it was in the lunch time. And the dance recital was held by the high school cheer leading club in front of the high school building.

12/19(Tue)　the Christmas concert by the Chorus club & the Chamber music club

The Christmas concert by the Chorus club & the Chamber music club was held in the auditorium. The students who had started playing the instrument in April played well. And the menbers of the chorus club and the chamber music club played some music together.

12/16（Sat）The inaugural meeting for the short school trip to Vietnum and China

The inaugural meeting for the short school trip to Vietnum and China was held. We finished it by giving three cheers together as usual.

12/13（Wed）A study tour to Kyodo news service

About thirty high school students had a study tour to Kyodo news service on the last day of the end of term test. They listened to the people who worked there and thought about their future.

12/16（Sat）The inaugural meeting for the short school trip to Vietnum & Beijing

We had the inaugural meeeting for the short trip to Vietnum and the short trip to Beijing as one of the SGH study. It was end by three cheers as usual.

12/13（Wed）A field trip to Kyodo news service

After the test week, applicants went to a field trip to Kyodo news service. About 30 students visited the branch office of Tokyo in Shiodome.

12/2(Sat) S1: the Presentations on the food, the theme of SGH in English

The S1 students have researched the things around the theme, food. Today, they gave presentations by showing and explaining the poster they had made in English.

11/29(Wed) J3 : The Mock Trial

The mock trial was held in the auditorium on 29th November. It is one of the education of the social studies. The lawyers came to our school and helped our students to do like a real trial.

11/27(Mon) the Lecture by the graduate of our school

We invited the 6th graduate, Ms. Kurashige who worked for the Asahi newspaper company. She talked about the way of living and working.

11/24(Fri）A trial lesson by the professor from Tokyo University

11/24(Fri) One of the carrier instruction programs, we in veited the professor Kimura from Tokyo University. He gave a lecture about Japan eel and natural resources.

11/18(Sat) A lecture about food loss for SGH program

We invited Ms. Ide as an expert on food loss probrem. She gave student a very interesting lecture.

11/18（Sat）S2 : Short study trip & presentations on their school trip to China

By the S2 students who went abroad as one of the SGH program, we had the presentation meeting.

11/14(Tue)　Open class day

We had an open class day. A lot of parents came to check their child. Students looked nervous.

We had the school reunion day. It was the graduates (13th～17th). They experienced some events which they had experienced in this school.

11/6(Mon)～11（Sat）Checking how students come to school by the teachers

Teachers stood on the school routes and the stations to check how our students come to school.

11/7(Tue)Trial lesson by the teacher from Tokyo Inst. of Technology

Trial lesson by Mr. Shimosaka from Tokyo Inst. of Tehnology was held for the students from J3 to S2. His lecture was on the AI.

11/4(Sat）5(Sun)　Explanatory Meeting for the High School Entrance Exams

We had explanatory Meeting for the Junior High School Entrance Exams on Saturday. And explanatory Meeting for the High School Entrance Exams was on Sunday. So many people came to our school. The number of people was record high.

10/10(Tue）～　J1～S2　School trip

Without S3 students, all the students had school trips. J1 students went to Minami-bousou area, J2 students went to Jyoshin area, J3 students went to Nara, S1 students went to Hiroshima, and S2 students went to China or Kyushu.

10/5(Thu）7(Sat)　The meeting for the school trip

Almost all the students would have the school trip next week. Students had prepared for the trip for about 4 monhs. The meeting for the J3&S2 school trip was held on 10/5. And the meeting for J1, J2 & S1 school trip was held 10/7.

9/30（Sat）A forum for the SGH program

We had a forum for the SGH program on the theme,”Sustainable Food System,the local approach." The students from China, from the International School, and from Shibu-Shibu came to our school and discussed the theme.

9/30（Sat）the Farewell ceremony for the NZ students

We had the Farewell ceremony for the NZ students. They had finished their staying for 2 weeks.

9/29（Fri）Performance which was planned for the school festival

The students showed their dance and band performance in the lunch time. They were planned and prepared for the school festival. But we didn't have enough time for all the students who planned to play.

９/１９～

9/21（Thu）Welcome ceremony for the students from NZ

In the 6th period, we had welcome ceremony for NZ students and teachers. Some Shibumaku students Japanese traditional martial arts ,Karate. And all the students sang a song for them.

We had an explanatory meeting for short study trip to foregin countries.

9/12（Tue）The students of Ruffles Institution came to our school

The students of Ruffles Institution in Singapore came to our school to stay in Shibumaku students' house. We had a welcome ceremony. They will have been here for about a week.
