We haven't invited the people like them before. So it was a good experience both for the teachers and the parents. |

| We invited an American lawyer, Maria Abe to give student a lecture. This event was one of the GLFC programs this year. The lecture was given in English, but she talked in a friendly way, so students enjoyed it. |

| A lecture on how to start up a business was held by the career guidance department. The speaker was from Japan Finance Corparation. He talked about the way of making their business idea a real business. |

| We had The lecture presentatioin by Eguchi, an investigator of the family court, as one of the career education programs of our school. He is a graduate of our school. The students from J3 to S3 listened to his lecutre. |

| A mini concert was held by the light music club in front of the library during the lunch break. A lot of students came to listen to their playing. |

| Although it would be rainy according to the weather forecast, it was cloudy. It was good weather for the students because it wasn't too hot. The team yellow won this year. |

| We had the Mid-term exam for the １st term. For J1 students, it was the first official test. They asked the teachers questions ,taught each other and prepared for it. |

| General meeting of the student council was held both for junior high and high school students. All the students came to the auditorium and talked about many kinds of things. |

| We had a briefing session on the result of the entrance exam. A lot of parents came to join this. And the meetings for the J2&J3 parents were held. |

| J1 students went to Noda as one day school trip. It was their first trip in our school. It rained a little but it was very good experience for them. |

| For a week, teacher stood on the street and checked how the students come to school. We checked their uniforms and so on. We encouraged them to obey rules on the street. |

| The opening ceremony for the second foreign language class was held. We had many different courses. For example for studyin Chinese, Korean, French, Spanish and so on. They are for the students from J3 to S2. |

| Students talked about the sports day in the long home room class. And they practiced in the lunch break. |

| We had the explanatory meeting for the students' course after the graduation at the auditorium. After that,we had meeting for the parents in the class. |

| The welcoming performance was played after school on Monday by the drama club. And welcoming performance was played by the brass band club. |

| For the High schoolstudents, we had the explanatory meeting for short trip. Over a hundred students came to listen to the explanation. |

| The welcoiming performance was played by the cheer leading club and by the chamber music club on Monday in lunch break. After school, the chamber music club and the chorus club played together for the new students. |

| We had orientation days for New J1 students. In each class, they decided the rules for the class and their roles in the class. |

| An entrance ceremony was held in the auditorium. The number of new J1 studentsa were 291, The number of the new S1 students were 75. |

| The opening ceremony for Junior high & High school was held together at the gym. Mr. Tamura told students that keeping regular hours was important. |
