On October 5th, we had the privilege of hosting an information session featuring Mr. John Yi, an Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions at Yale University. Mr. Yi spoke to approximately 180 parents and students about the unique school life offered at Yale. Our community was able to learn firsthand about both the academic and social environments at Yale. After Mr. Yi’s presentation, he answered questions from the attendees.
Mr. Yi did not limit his information to Yale University, but also touched on the benefits of pursuing higher education in the United States. He also provided valuable advice about choosing universities based on the needs of the student and not on the ranking of the school. Additionally, Mr. Yi gave us information about the kinds of activities our students should pursue in preparation for applying to American schools.
